Odd. There's a net conservation of people in the Bay Area over the weekend. Paul left to go back to MO and Gus and I are out here (I picked up Gus from SJC last night--he's in town for a MacOS X conference).
It was most amusing to hear the Japanese receptionist try to prounounce Gus' last name. Oh, for want of a dictaphone!
So, why am I out here? Another 256 processors of Altix at NASA Ames research center got installed this weekend. It, of course, works great. :-)

This is from a Dutch co-worker in reference to a bug, but it's much funnier taken out of context. I just love that perfect English that the Dutch use. :)
I've had the cold for three weeks and I am now officially pissed off. I had to cancel my flight to MSP tomorrow since it took a nice turn for the worse today and the last thing I want to do is get on a plane when my head already feels like it's swolen to mammoth proportions (and that's not the ego).
In much better news, Gus is getting hitched! That's one less thing that I can bug him about. Although, there's a net conservation. Now I can bug him about when they're going to have kids. :-)
And here I was thinking the enchiladas last night did a number on me:
