More walking with gus

Halfway through our walk in Tower Grove Park (we've been taking walks every day now that I've stopped traveling) Gus really started whining about being in the stroller, so we stopped off at one of the softball fields and let him wander around for a bit. Unfortunately, his Lil' Jo's shoes were a touch on the big side (think clown shoes), so he kept tripping over them. Since the ground was warm enough, we took his shoes off and just watched out for glass. Wow! What a happy kid! The only downside was that he kept trying to wander towards the street.

I also saw the hawk again. He (or she, I guess I just think of efficient killing machines as male, German or both) must definitely be living in the park.

Hey Dave. I don't know if you remember me, from campus computing in Columbia. I was in networking when you were in the SGI group. I now live near Tower Grove park as well, and have a very large dog named Gus. So your blog surprised me. Anyway, hope all is well, sounds like you are enjoying fatherhood. That is great. Take care
Theresa

Dude, the female of the species (whichever you're referring to) is usually so much more vicious.

They just feel bad after brutally killing someone who desparately needed it.

I see you have a kid. Well congrats! That website is not up at present, however it will be at some point. I need to send you the tapes of your dad, may be able to get to that soon. Let me know how Johnathon and Tim are doing. Tim better not have thrown away my ratty assed brown old fender amp. I gave him the silver one, not the brown one. One of my brothers still has my dobro, has had it since 1982, so Tim is not the only culprit. Things are going fine, keep in touch, or I will. I still have my Dog, and all 7 sorry-assed cats.
